Will the Hikvision DS-7608NI-M2-M work with my existing recorder/NVR?
Most modern NVRs that support ONVIF or the camera's brand will work with the Hikvision DS-7608NI-M2-M. For best results — including motion analytics, audio and full resolution — we recommend pairing it with an NVR from the same brand. Send us your recorder model and we'll confirm before you buy.

Does it need a special power supply?
No — the camera is powered over the network cable using PoE (Power over Ethernet) from a PoE-enabled NVR or PoE switch. A separate 12V DC supply can be used as an alternative if PoE isn't available.

Can I install it outside?
This model is best suited to sheltered or indoor locations. For fully exposed outdoor mounting, look at our LVE / outdoor-rated dome and bullet cameras instead.

What's in the box?
