How many cameras can I connect?
Check the model number — the digits before NI/HS indicate the channel count (e.g. NVR4108 = 8 channels, NVR4216 = 16 channels). PoE-equipped models power the cameras directly through the recorder's built-in PoE ports; non-PoE models require a separate PoE switch.

Does it come with a hard drive?
Models tagged with a TB capacity in the title (e.g. "with 4TB HDD") ship with a surveillance-grade drive pre-installed. All other models are supplied empty — we recommend a Seagate SkyHawk or WD Purple drive sized for your retention needs (we stock both).

Can I view the cameras remotely on my phone?
Yes — use the manufacturer's free mobile app (Hik-Connect for Hikvision, Hik-Connect for HiLook, IDIS Mobile, gDMSS for Dahua). After plugging the recorder into your router, scan the QR code on the device to add it to your phone.

What's the maximum camera resolution?
The recorder supports any IP camera up to its rated maximum resolution per channel (typically 8MP / 4K on current models). Refer to the datasheet linked above for the exact per-channel limit and total bandwidth.

What's the warranty?
