Will the Axis P3287-LVE work with my existing recorder/NVR?
Most modern NVRs that support ONVIF or the camera's brand will work with the Axis P3287-LVE. For best results — including motion analytics, audio and full resolution — we recommend pairing it with an NVR from the same brand. Send us your recorder model and we'll confirm before you buy.
Does it need a special power supply?
No — the camera is powered over the network cable using PoE (Power over Ethernet) from a PoE-enabled NVR or PoE switch. A separate 12V DC supply can be used as an alternative if PoE isn't available.
Is it suitable for outdoor installation?
Yes — this model is rated for outdoor use (IP66/IP67 weather sealing). It can be installed under eaves, on walls, or in exposed locations. Avoid mounting it in direct, prolonged contact with salt water spray.
What's in the box?
